In der Zeit der Betroffenheit und Einschränkung durch die Pandemie stehen wir vor SITIS MUNDI. Der Durst erstreckt sich auf viele Lebensbereiche bis hin zum auf seine Weise lebensnotwendigen - dem Durst nach der Welt der Kunst. Die überdimensionalen Halme sollen wie Landmarks auf diese Tatsache aufmerksam machen und gleichzeitig auf die Mittel der Kunst und die Wege zur Kunst - hier im Kontext zu den gezeigten Arbeiten im Rahmen der millstART – verweisen. Die Halme stehen von Wind und Wasser leicht bewegt in der Tiefe und Weite des Sees und fest wie zum Mahnmal wurzeln wollend als weiße Ausrufezeichen in der Grünfläche vor dem Stift.

In the time of being affected and restricted by the pandemic we are facing SITIS MUNDI.
The thirst extends to many areas of life up to the essentiell and vital way – to the thirst for the world of art. The oversized stalks (height about 6 m ) are intended to draw attention to this fact like landmarks and at the same time to the means of art and the ways to art - in the current context leading to the works shown in the area of MillstaRT. The stalks stand lightly moved by wind and water in the depth and breadth of the lake and firmly rooted as a sign of white exclamation points in the green space in front of the Stift Millstatt.
